Tonight: Bonde Do Role, Deathset, RR, Gang at JB's

If you notice, there is no Marina. Marina parted ways last year, shortly after their last show at Johnny Brenda's. Then there was this whole contest on Brazilian MTV to pick a new singer, they couldn't decide between two and so kept both.

The MOTHERFUCKING Deathset meanwhile are from Baltimore and Australia and Brooklyn. Their latest album is on Ninja Tune's Counter Records, their rock imprint, and meanwhile they've blown up. Emily Rabbit and Spank Rock have been telling me about them for awhile, course I stopped paying attention once they said it was a band...

Pick up their album from here

Also playing resident Danger Danger band Rad Racket "mixes dreamy hardcore with hippie jazz".

Finally, Bonde do Role's pick for this year and last Gang, riding shotgun and killing rats.

Tickets are $10, order them now.

PS: Afterparty at the mausoleum, byob and maybe a keg. 12 - ?

A Sides Tonight Jonny Brenda's

Local fav's the A Sides will be kicking around on Frankford and Girard street tonight throwing down that slow indie goodness. Best part is that all of these dudes ex girlfriends show up so their is tons of indy tail just looking bored and staring off in the corner. This would be a good time for all these dudes studying the game to walk in and just talk shit on indy rock and how hip hop is so fucking better. Then you gotta convince the girl to do a jager bomb with you and go to WTWB so you can get your mind right before bangin a girl with a dudes haircut.

Bonde Do Role & Plastic Little Tonight

Tonight, Bonde do Role, Plastic Little, Gang and Pink Skull tonight at Johnny Brendas. Remember last time they played? It got a bit crazy in there. This time, Marina and company will actually have a real live stage to play on instead of getting crushed by the crowd at Sals. Have you got your tickets yet? Tickets are only $10 and available surcharge free at Relapse Records on 4th and South. I've heard this might sell out. Just saying.
