I try to stay away from excessive youtube postings since I can't watch this shit at work but I just saw this promo thing for North American South American were these dudes got all these fucking pretty cool artists together to make music. Some of the stuff sounds like its gonna be wack, like dope on paper but wack cause the executive producers are on some super West Coast Hip Hop shit. But then some of those tracks sounded really fucking incredible. Like that shit with Amanda Blank and Sizzla.




Shit could be EPIC.

Supposedly some drama popped at this party between MIA and Diplo as reported by Philiberty, but who really cares when you could see Santi doing her thang on the dance floor. Biggest let down of the night was DJ Sega going on for 5 mins on the main floor before the lights came on. I think he played the action news theme and they cut him off.

Oh snap M.I.A. is sold out. The after party is at Transit featuring a homecoming for Low Beezy aka Low Budget. Low B has been on tour as M.I.A.'s tour DJ and is ready to come back to tear the fucking club up. Official guests include Pase Rock, not this Pase Rock, DJing who has been DJing for Santogold, Dirty South Joe and the 6'6" assassin of White T's Dan the motherfucking Swede. Guest performances all night long, come on I could give you three guesses and you should be able to guess who might show up. And since you asked for it, there will be free PBR until midnight. Plus Brendan downstairs and house music all night long upstairs with Dirty. It seems like forever since Low Beezy has been in the city and its kind of true after having the luxury of being able to see him erry Thursday for awhile. Holla! I don't know if you got the flyer from MSTRKRFT but Paper Street, Simplefly and Gravy are taking over Transit Saturdays. First party up is Devlin & Darko, Spank Rock's tour dj's, along with Si Young, Plastic Little's tour DJ. Meanwhile, Brendan Bring'em will be rocking downstairs and DJ Dirty from Sundae will be rocking upstairs in the Executive Party Suite.

November 10th is Bo Bliz and Emynd of White T's, November 17th the Rub invades Philly and then on the 24th Flosstradamus from Chicago will be taking over the main floor. M.I.A., Bun B and Rich Boy - Paper Planes

Picked this up from the MadDecent blog (I need to add their feed to my netvibes, do they have a feed?) and this track kills. First, Bun's verse includes the incredible line "being poor is a disease, gotta hustle up a cure". Second, I never really "listened" to Rich Boy. The first single, was just "Throw Some D's on that". This verse though really made my ears perk up and go back and want to listen to his album which I have to say is quite good. My favorite part of this verse is "Her name is Beretta and shes motherfucking crazy" except I need to add extra letters because the way he says it really makes it pop.

Not sure who djed it but they started out with the Spank Rock/Pase Rock/ Santogold "Lindsays Lohan's Revenge" track aka Baby Rat. Wow, like really, whoa. Really, really NSFW video here.
