• The main event, its the 2009 Roots Picnic. The Roots, Public Enemy, Kid Cudi, Asher Roth, Santigold and more. Tickets are 47 today, 51 tomorrow and very likely to sell out.

Saturday Night

• Questlove and Mike Nyce spin at Tastytreats featuring a late night tribute to Prince. Admission is $5 with your ticket stub. $3 drinks & $2 beer until 12. $10 otherwise
• Back2Basics is throwing a party at the Arts Garage featuring King Britt, Dozia, Soulsister, Ron Clark and more. 10 until ?. $5 with picnic ticket stub, $10 without.

Sunday
