Bhangra reggae soundclash you say? Free before midnight you say?  $2 beers? Ok, could be into this.   Kind of feeling these remixes on the myspace.  Oh and next time, I need that cabbie to pick me up.

Double L - One Drop

September 12th, 2008 · 1 Comment

sound_system_brunoblum Double L - One Drop

Double L just started his own blog to highlight all the Carribean riddims runnin tings. To celebrate he just upped a brand new mix with nothing but Island fiyah!

For my first mix I went the one drop route, kicking off with the new Estelle “Come Over” remix featuring Sean Paul. Big big tune!!! I keep it moving on the lovers vibe then into an old school run of ganja tunes pon the “Swing Easy” riddim and into the big “Police In Helicopter” riddim I posted last.

Throwback Fridays: Who Am I?

June 13th, 2008 · No Comments

Oh man, Kenny Meez was my favorite part of the block party. Nothing like some dancehall, reggae and dubplates on a hot summer day. So heres an old favorite.
Beenie Ma - Who Am I? (sim simma)

I also realized that I do not post enough dancehall and reggae jams so I hope to correct that.
