Tonight at Silk City a Philly All Star Tribute to the life and work of Mpozi Mshale Toblert. Mpozi was an award winning press photographer from Philadelphia. He also moonlighted as reggae/dub DJ around the city and eventually in Indianapolis where he moved in 1998.
This tribute event will feature an all-star Philly lineup including Sadiki, Dozia, King Britt, Chuck Treece, Cosmo Baker, ?uestlove, Schoolly D, Jafar Barron, Brendan Bring’em, and more.
Entry is $7 and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Mpozi Mshale Tolbert Studios
