So Fischerspooner is playing at the TLA with Drop the Lime’s band opening up. Here is my extent of Fischerspooner knowledge. “I like those indie girls that say they like electroclash, Crash that’s cool/I like Fischerspooner too/But, nah bitch, I don’t bitch/I like some Ice Cube/Today was a good day/the night’s gonna get better/Cause I got her drunk off 5 dollar liquor”. Thank you Pack of Rats. Head over to Fluid after the show for the after party with Dirty South Joe, Flufftronix, Nick Hook and a secret special guest from Trouble & Bass. Wish Fluffy a happy birthday and then drizzholler at some indie girls and head to the hotel lobby.

Chelley’s smash hit produced by Ricky Blaze is getting the rework treatment. Smarttech aka Stumble and Dirty South Joe offer up this blend of Chelley’s Took the Night and, the still amazing, Sis’ Trompeta.

Mishka takes over the upstairs at Ubiq, that Stussy recently vacated, with an opening night party this Friday from 9 – 1. Mad Decent and Redbull get tother and party with DJ’s Sega, Dirty South Joe and Flufftronix.
For the next three weeks, Mishka will be hibernating in the cozy atmosphere over at UBIQ in Philadelphia, where we’ll escape the elements and forage for cheesteaks. UBIQ is a long time supporter of the brand and invited us over to set up shop in their fine establishment, and like any good houseguest we’ve brought a little something over for our friends…
Mishka has worked with art legend Frank Kozik to produce a limited print for the occasion, which
will be available for purchase (hey UBIQ’s putting us up, not you) at the shop, which compliments our Kozik “Pipes and Porridge” tee available now. Along with selections from Mishka’s diverse collection not normally available at UBIQ, we will also have special items, toys and other insanity that you’ve come to expect from Mishka. It will be our own little enclave of Mishka madness in Philly for all of our fans to come and check out.
Only 50 of the limited prints will be available at Ubiq. 50 more will be available online from Mishka.

Tuesday, Nov. 12 11th at the Barbary is gonna be special. Dude-tasticaly special, apparently. They’ve planned a special evening where a bunch of dj’s are getting together to do 30 minute drop sets after hours of heavy drinking.
Here is how it’s gonna go down:
DJ ORDER & FLOW
DJ’s names will be randomly drawn by GRAVY, our MC/bartender.
this will happen every 20-30 minutes (based on attendance) during a song.
when your name is announced, you must go to the bar and do a BEER BONG of PBR AND A SHOT OF WHISKEY.
if you don’t drink, you must do a beer bong of sprite or club soda.
This is according to JhnRdn himself, laying down the LAW!
This is def gonna be something worth seeing. It apparently is NOT a battle but just a chance to play whatever they feel like playing and have a ton of fun doing it. The following list is all that are planning to appear, so far.
- BUSHY (ressurection)
- IAN ST LAURENT (tomorrow’s radio)
- KYLE (M) (ten commandments)
- DIRTY SOUTH JOE (brick bandits, mad decent)
- EMYND (bounce, white t’s)
- BO BLIZ (bounce, white t’s)
- APT ONE (philadelphynz)
- STEREOFAITH (sorted, dc)
- SKIPMODE (ill makaniks)
- GREGG FOREMAN (turnaround)
- BOBBY ANALOG (nyc)
- JHN RDN (live forever)
- ANDY PRY (throne of blood)
- FLUFFTRONIX (rad summer)
Who knows who else is gonna show up for this one…
All this manlove for the reasonable price of….FREE. See you there!
