Philly is a convenient halfway point for a northeastern throwdown, pitting selectors from DC, NYC, and PHL for the title of selector of the year 2k9 at the inaugural Selectors Ball.
Champe of West Philly radio station WBEP’s Lion’s Den (yr total reggae fix every Saturday on the getting-ready-hrs) will be DJing — in the JA sense, that means MC — the event. As the flyer would indicate, this jawn goes late in North (North North) Philly.
Every Friday Kenny Meez and Federation Sound tear it down at the Arts Garage. This week they will have Solomonic Sound in the building!
