The Mad Decent Block Party is taking the show on the road with dates starting in the original location of Philly and then going to New York, Los Angeles and finally Chicago. Here in Philly catch Diplo, Bosco Delrey, PO PO, Maluca, Paul Devro, The Deathset, Dirty South Joe & DJ Sega, Brendan Bringem, Nadastrom and Toadally Krossed Out. It’s all going down this Saturday in front of the Mad Decent Mausoleum at 12th and Spring Garden. The party starts at 1 and ends at 8. It’s all ages and all free. PYT will be running the grills serving up their burgers.
The Institute at the corner of 12th and Green is busy renovating in time for the Block Party and will be debuting an outdoor sprinkler room and a larger dance floor upstairs.

Fresh Melt Water are opening their flagship store this Saturday in the long dreamed and finally realized piazza located at the former Schmidts brewery spot. The festivities last all day from 11 AM until 11 PM and feature some of your favorite things. There will be food by Tony Rodger’s Big Dawg BBQ, complimentary PBR, Dos Equis, Red Bull & Vitamin Water. Meanwhile DJ’s Brendan Bring’em, Dirty South Joe, Frosty, Slimfass, phsh and law one will be there plus live performances from Reef the Lost Cauze, Cymarshall Law, Gun$ Garcia, the Uncanny, Patty Crash, Tsunami Rising and Brick and Mortar. It’s all free, It’s all happening this Saturday. Oh and those Anmlhse dudes are having a beer pong tournament. Oh and there will be stuff for sale, you know, cause it’s a store too.

The official unveiling of the DJ Day pictures from Jonene Taddei and Snapkracker is tonight at Q-ba. Each and every Thursday, Brendan Bringem and Mayhem Marketing take over this four floor mexican restaurant at 3rd and Girard. The first two floors are dedicated to dancing. The third is a small lounge and the 4th is a deck that is half enclosed and half open. Come out to the Houseparty at Q-ba each and every Thursday.
