Tonight join Philly hip hop trio Writtenhouse for the finale of Philadelphia Weekly’s Concerts in the Park at Rittenhouse. Opening up at 7 is indie rock band Panic Years. If you’d like to skip them get there at 8.
Writtenhouse recently released a great 14 track mixtape entitled Sunshine Philadelphia Volume 2 mixed by DJ Akshun. It showcases the classic style of the trio with a bit of the boom bap to back them up. Here is one of my favorite tracks from the mixtape. Cloud City is a look at the streets of Philadelphia with a soulful soundtrack.
