Local street art heroes El Toro and Nose join 2 Cents & Branded at T & P Fine Art for the opening of Advertisements for Myself next Friday, June 5th. The last time El Toro and Nose were in the same exhibit, besides nearly every newspaper box around the city, was with Bob at Freejade gallery in August of 2006.
This Los Angeles based artist uses silhouetted imagery conveying poignant and impactful imagery placed on found objects and paper using serigraph or stencils. His work can be viewed on the streets of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Phoenix, Portland, Austin, Houston, New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, and throughout Mexico. He has exhibited at Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art stores, Gallery 1988, and Carmichael Gallery. His Main objective is to stimulate ones surroundings without trying to ovetly sell them a product but to just have a moment of love, hate, sadness, happiness, reflection or any other emotion to add a rich inspiration to your day to day life.
T & P Fine arts is located in the heart of the Italian Market at 1143 S. 9th Street.
