Hurrah and their timeliness of parties presents The Stimulus Package this Saturday at Medusa with special guest DJ Image. If you’ve never heard of Image we’ve got 2 mixes for you and here is what Shawn Ryan says:

This month at Hurrah I am super excited to host a big inspiration of mine, DJ Image. He is the most technically proficient DJ I know, with 13 years of experience under his belt. Known throughout the region for his music production, live performances, and his work with Baltimore’s DVC Break Dancing Crew, it might come as a surprise that he is also an amazing club DJ. This gig will be a far cry from his appearances with Billy Martin, John Medeski, Jedi Mind Tricks & Kool Keith. Instead, it will be a long awaited opportunity for Image to explore the eclectic, fun-loving nature of Hurrah’s dancefloor. I’ve been trying to book him for over a year now, so any coverage of this rare Philadelphia appearance would be much appreciated.
