Krudmart just released this essential BBQ mixtape compiled by Caps and Jones. I thoroughly thank him for this because every time I grill, I just put on rap music or start raving and they’re all no man, we want to chill, don’t you have anything besides that, no, not really, but now I do! Yay! Its great, there is this halal meat market at 23rd and Lombard with great meat and great prices, sirloins are like $3/pound. I can get an inch thick steak about 12 inches long for like 6.50. I either marinate it or just learned this new trick where you cover it (so you can’t see the steak any more) with coarse salt for an hour, it pulls out some of the juice and breaks down the steak making it nice and tender.
